My Story…
I was diagnosed with Migraine as a baby, long before I could even understand what that meant. For most people, migraines are something that come and go later in life—but for me, it has always been a part of my story. Growing up, I had to learn early how to manage the pain, take care of myself, and push through moments that would stop most people in their tracks. It wasn’t easy, but I refused to let it define who I was or what I could become.
Football became my first love and my passion. Ironically, I chose a sport built on contact—on intensity, on hitting and being hit—while living with something that affects my head. You could say I ran straight through that brick wall headfirst without hesitation. Where others might have seen limitations, I saw challenges to overcome. Every practice, every game, every moment on the field was proof to myself that I was stronger than my condition.
Participating in the Miles for Migraine 2K walk means more to me than just showing up—it’s the journey!
